Last weekend

This last weekend was a blast! On Friday night we went to a wedding then saw Godzilla. Saturday we slept in till 11 then grabbed subway and went to the park for a picnic and practiced softball (we have a double header tonight). Then Saturday night we went up the canyon with some friends and made hot dogs and s'mores. It was awesome!! All in all it was a great weekend! Now I have two summer classes that are going to nearly kill me then nursing school in three months! I can even begin to explain how excited I am! I've been working so hard for this and can't believe it's finally here! Aus is working nearly full time and going to school full time. So unfortunately there won't be much time to play this summer but we both can see the end of the tunnel and before we know it we will be done with school! I'm so grateful I have a husband who works so hard to support us. He's truly the best.

Oct. 11

It's taken me a while to write about this perfect day because we just barely got our wedding pictures back. And that is really all I need to say about it. Is it was truly perfect! We were married in the Salt Lake Temple and had our reception at my Aunt Shelly's house. Which is the most beautiful home you will ever see. That night we stayed at the Grande America and then off we were to Hawaii. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding and honeymoon. It truly was the best!

The story of us.

I haven't blogged in a year! Crazy. But I wanted to catch up and talk about the most important person who has come into my life in that year. Last Summer I started hanging out with Austin Johnson. We were just friends that flirted A LOT! I remember telling sage one day that I had a crush on him... and from that day forward I haven't been able to get him out of my head. It is pretty crazy how it all worked out. I had a missionary who was coming home in two months and within a week of dating Austin I knew things were going to go a different way then I had expected. And I am sooooo grateful that they did. I have never been loved and treated so well by someone in my whole life. Austin has brought out the best in me and I have become the person I want to be. It's pretty crazy how things all work out. I love him so much and can't wait for what the future holds.

Summertime

Welp it's been a good three months since I have written. Which is stressful because so much has happened since then, but at the same time not really ha. I am probably going to do just a picture post for now to catch up. But for a little summary. I am working at an assisted living home, and I love it! I have grown to love the people I take care of. It is really fun to come to work, and so rewarding, well when I actually see the people. Most of the time I work graveyards 11pm-7am..woof. I am also volunteering up at Primary Children's Hospital once a week and honestly it is the highlight of my week. I LOVE it! It is the most rewarding thing, although it is pretty emotional at times. Other than that I am still nannying and just enjoying my Summer!

One day my friends and I were talking about how much we love Grey's Anatomy and how it would be so fun to go to Seattle, and the next day our tickets were booked. Such a freakin fun trip!

We went down by the water every evening to watch the sunset, and just chill

Pikes place! If you haven't been to Seattle I highly recommend it!

I did an internship for an organization Ascend. I was in charge of getting 150 volunteers for it. It was an awesome experience.

Times a Changin

Welp it's here. I have officially finished my Junior year of College. It's been quite the year academically, But I made it! It's been an emotional week, I spent 12 hrs a day in the Library, stayed up late, woke up early trying to study, and pack on top of that. Words can't describe how sad I am to be leaving Utah State, coming up here was the best decision I have ever made. I have met so many awesome people, and built friendships that will last a life time. My roommate Lily has become my best friend, I don't know what I would have done without her this year. She made everyday so fun, there was never a dull moment at our house. From hip hop dancing in the kitchen into all hrs of the night, taco Tuesdays at Cafe Rio, deep chats, dances, watching movies, Thursday night Cafe Sabor with our guy friends we have become so close to, and of course we made pop corn probably every other night. Gosh I am going to miss her and living in my cute little house so much! I have really found out who my true friends are this year.Things change and people change but that is just part of life. I would not trade a second of my life this year for anything. I just can't believe it is all over!

                                                    Beginning                               End

Karisa Has become one of my best friends

Oh Jord, love this boy

Loved my room!
But now it is time for Summer! It's a bitter sweet thing, closing one chapter in my life and opening a new one. I am pretty clueless as to what I am going to do this Summer. I decided that I am most likely going to take the Summer off as far as school goes. I need a break. I will be volunteering at Primary Children's Hospital, working at a wedding reception place, and hopefully be getting a CNA job. And of course lay out, Bear Lake, bike rides, swimming, you know the usual fun Summer things. Life is good. I love my life!
